This is a full report on the Global Silent Minute observed on December 21st, at the start of the Festival Week. It includes the story of how the idea for the Silent Miunute spread through diverse networks and eventually became a massive movement for people of goodwill around the world to share one minute of silence at the same time, dedicated to thoughts of global cooperation, peace and freedom.
