About the Festival Week

All who love humanity and the Earth and have an active service life form one group in consciousness: the New Group of World Servers. It is a functioning, active group with members in all countries and all cultures, but it has no single organization and no outer structure.

Participate privately through your own rhythm of meditation, visualization and prayer. Invoke the light, love and spiritual will of the Higher Worlds, visualizing those energies empowering the Group of all servers in the world. Suggested practices include a 5pm daily mantram; a global Minute of Silence on December 21; use the outline for the Goodwill Meditation Group; join a webinar; attend a local event or organize an event; spread the word.

Meditation and visualization can be used by individuals and groups to invoke light, love and spiritual power into human consciousness. The effect of human meditation at this time is to change conditions, to invoke the higher, spiritual potencies, to work with concentration—both vertically and horizontally—within the world of humanity and within the Kingdom of God.

Alice Bailey (1880 – 1949) was a writer and lecturer who made a major contribution to the theosophical movement, establishing a school of meditation and esoteric study. She worked (at first reluctantly) with a Master of the Wisdom known as the Tibetan, Djwhal Khul, in the writing of a series of books presenting the next phase in the continuity of the Ageless Wisdom teaching for the present and the immediate future.

Every seven years, from December 21 – 28, a tide of extra-zodiacal energies pour through the constellation Capricorn and into humanity, providing a ‘week of group impact’ strengthening the work and consciousness of the New Group of World Servers. Link in meditation, prayer and reflection – invoking the higher energies and visualizing responses from the New Group.

A new world story is unfolding – the rise to the fore of a group hero, called The New Group of World Servers in Alice Bailey’s writings.  This group is comprised of the growing number of people who, though not yet liberated from the conflict of the human condition, are awake to the divine side of their nature.  Each seeks to serve in some problematic area of human endeavor.
