Symbols, Capricorn and the Festival Week

To the esotericist, the Flower of Life is a symbol of Universal Creation, depicting the fact that there are six Forces in Nature…and the seventh – the all-Force, or the absolute Force, which is the synthesis of all.”2 The symbol is composed of evenly-spaced, overlapping circles arranged to form a flower-like pattern. From the centre of each flower emanates six petals representing the six forces in nature – each extending to the perimeter of the circle that encloses them – the synthesizing ‘all force’. The centre of each flower is on the circumference of six others depicting perfect form, proportion and harmony. The Flower of Life therefore represents the fundamental generative forces in time and space working out as right relationships between all things. Considered from the perspective of the seven rays of life, the synthesizing ‘all force’ in this solar system is the ray of Love-Wisdom as it guides and spirals the other six forces in their form building activities.

A natural example of this creative process is the beautiful six-fold geometry of the snowflake; but equally, at an advanced stage, the human being becomes transformed into a flower of life – “the perfect six-pointed star... (the threefold personality and the threefold Triad merged and blended and perfectly produced through the intermediate point, the causal body).”3 Through purified minds and loving hearts, the inner geometry of forces that make up the human being start to resemble the flower of life, becoming a part of the worldwide flower of life that is growing out of the human kingdom – The New Group of World Servers.  Through this living, lighted matrix of force, “the pattern of things as they are in the heavens” is steadily precipitating into concrete form in the outer worlds.”
